Each set of note cards contains one of five images from the letterpress series The Greater of These: Truth, Hope, Justice, Freedom created by Hope McMath. The images explore the battle of opposites so prevalent in society today. Whether we are addressing sexual harassment, racial inequity, or gender bias the language we use is full of contradiction – victim and oppressor. Freedom and possession. Compassion and violence. Strength and struggle. Whole and broken. Power and vulnerability. Truth and silence. Hope and despair. In each of these prints the language of hope and power supersedes words of fear and negativity.
The back of each card contains information about Yellow House. All proceeds benefit the mission-based work of the organization.
