This series of five original letterpress prints explores the battle of opposites so prevalent in society today. Whether we are addressing sexual harassment, racial inequity, or gender bias the language we use is full of contradiction – victim and oppressor. Freedom and possession. Compassion and violence. Strength and struggle. Whole and broken. Power and vulnerability. Truth and silence. Hope and despair. In each of these prints the language of hope and power supersedes words of fear and negativity.
