Historically there are deep connections between the arts and healing. Viewing and creating works of art has a proven link to the wellness of individuals and communities. LIFE UNDER CONSTRUCTION: Princess Rashid and Keith Dolescelebrates the art and lived experiences of two of our region’s finest abstract painters as they explore the deep connections between illness, healing, and personal expression. It is an exhibition where the act of mark making, the energy of color, and references to inner and outer worlds combine to create an exhibition filled with darkness and joy, struggle and triumph, and celebrates life’s many cycles.
